Junction Box

This metal junction box is only needed when:

1. You need to create a paddle switch for a series of lights in the case where a standard switch or dimmer switch is not available.

2. You need to create a bridge because your house supply wires(coming out of the wall) do not extend long enough to connect to the fixture.

There are multiple knock out holes for hardwire connection

And you can connect up to TWO fixtures DIRECTLY to the junction box, since there are TWO outputs on the J-box
